What if the hardest part of your comeback isn’t the failure—but the waiting that follows? In Week 3 of The Comeback, we step into the space between promise and fulfillment, where it feels like nothing is happening… but God is doing His deepest work.
In Acts 1:3–14, the disciples find themselves in that very tension. Jesus has risen, the mission is coming, but first—they must wait. While they’re focused on when, Jesus redirects them to what. He shifts their attention from timing to purpose. Because waiting in God’s hands is never wasted.
This message reminds us that the miracle didn’t start when it suddenly appeared—it started in the unseen, in the heat, in the preparation. Waiting isn’t passive; it’s active obedience. It’s choosing to stay where God placed you, to trust what He already said, and to remain faithful even when nothing seems to be moving.
Too often, we chase new direction when we haven’t followed the last instruction. But God uses seasons of waiting not to delay us—but to develop us. Because if opportunity comes without preparation, it can crush what God intends to grow.
So if you’re in a season where prayers feel unanswered, doors seem closed, and progress feels stalled—don’t give up. God is working beneath the surface.
Because if you can trust God in the waiting… you’ll be ready when He moves in the suddenly.
