Job Description

Position Summary

The Innovation Kids Director leads the Children’s Ministry at Innovation Church by developing and implementing curriculum for the spiritual formation of children (K5–5th grade) and equipping parents to disciple their kids. This role oversees Sunday children’s worship services, ministry staff, and volunteers, ensuring all programs, events, and outreach effectively advance children’s spiritual growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and disciple team leaders and volunteers across all Innovation Kids ministries.
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and programming for K5–5th grade.
  • Teach and preach at children’s worship services as scheduled.
  • Oversee Sunday morning operations, check-in procedures, and attendance tracking.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with leaders and volunteers, addressing issues proactively.
  • Share updates, vision, and best practices through emails, team trainings, and gatherings.
  • Create engaging activities and programs that facilitate spiritual growth for children.
  • Recognize and celebrate team members monthly, highlighting achievements publicly when appropriate.
  • Arrive at least 30 minutes early to events to model leadership, build culture, and connect with families and volunteers.
  • Manage budgets responsibly, submit reimbursements on time, and complete all Divvy transactions by the Tuesday before month-end.

Systems & Scheduling

  • Schedule curriculum, events, and team assignments in Tithe.ly at least 1 month in advance.
  • Follow up with “no-show” team members and address issues to prevent repeat behavior.
  • Regularly contact, pray for, and support team leaders outside of church (at least once per month).
  • Submit event forms at least 1 month prior to events.

Time Commitment

  • Weekly oversight, coaching, and planning (approx. 6-8 hrs/week).
  • Monthly Lead Team meetings (2 hrs/month)
  • Monthly planning/review meeting with Lead Pastor (1 hr/month)
  • Event prep, curriculum development, and leader support.

Reporting Structure

  • Reports to: Lead Pastor
  • Direct Reports: Innovation Kids Team Leaders and Volunteers
  • Partners with: Other ministry leaders for alignment and collaboration

Sunday Expectations

  • Attend at least 44 services per year; if serving, also attend an opposite service.
  • Arrive at least 30 minutes early to lead your team; have all essentials completed and communicated by Thursday.
  • Park in the farthest spaces to prioritize guests.
  • Avoid overbooking Sundays to maintain balance between doing and being.

Innovation Youth Leader
Job Description

Position Summary

The Youth Leader actively engages with students, leading small groups, mentoring youth, and modeling a life of service and faith. This role fosters spiritual growth, discipleship, and community within the youth ministry while supporting youth parents and leadership.

  • Communication – Maintain honest and clear communication with leadership, parents, and students.

  • Be present and actively engaged with youth during events and services.

  • Develop a co-leader (#2) to ensure continuity of leadership within 1 year.
  • Support youth parents and communicate effectively about student needs and ministry updates.
  • Model servant leadership and encourage others to grow spiritually and relationally.
  • Arrive at least 30 minutes early to all events to model leadership, help set culture, and connect with students and volunteers.
  • Submit event forms 1 month in advance to the appropriate staff contact.

Systems & Scheduling

  • Assist in creating a focused, engaging environment for youth, helping students stay on task during events.
  • Plan and prepare for small group discussions and prayer sessions.
  • Coordinate with other youth leaders and staff to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Maintain consistent communication with students, parents, and team leaders.

Time Commitment

  • Weekly youth engagement, small group leadership, and preparation (approx. 8hrs/week).
  • Monthly Lead Team Meeting (2 hrs/month)
  • Monthly planning/review meeting with Lead Pastor (1 hr/month)
  • Event prep, small group mentoring, and team support.

Church Cleaning Team Member
Job Description
Are you looking for a flexible way to earn extra money while helping keep our church a clean, welcoming place for everyone?
We’re looking for 2–3 reliable, detail-oriented individuals to join our Church Cleaning Team!

Position Details

 * Paid Position – Great opportunity to make extra income
 * Rotating Schedule – Team members will take turns weekly cleaning the building, so you’ll only clean about once a month
 * Flexible Hours – Cleaning can be done anytime from Thursday after 5:00 PM through Saturday at 10:00 PM, unless the building is being used (you will be notified in advance)
 * Contract Required – A short agreement outlining cleaning expectations must be signed before starting
 * Please Note: As this is a part-time paid position, children are not permitted to be present during cleaning hours
 * Needs to be a partner of Innovation Church.

Duties Include

 - Following the Church Cleaning Checklist to ensure all areas are completed
 - Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
 - Cleaning restrooms and restocking supplies
 - Wiping down tables, counters, and other surfaces
 - Sanitizing high-touch areas (door handles, light switches, etc.)
 - Emptying trash and replacing liners
 - Ensuring the building is tidy, welcoming, and ready for Sunday services

Pit Crew Team

The Pit Crew Team helps create a clean, welcoming environment for everyone who attends Innovation Church. Team members serve between and after services by checking and emptying trash in bathrooms and the lobby as needed, restocking toilet paper, and picking up any trash in the auditorium and common areas. This role ensures the building looks presentable and ready for each service, helping guests feel comfortable and cared for.

Lawn Mowing Team Lead

The Lawn Mowing Team Lead oversees and coordinates a team of volunteers to ensure the Innovation Church property is well-maintained and ready each week. This role includes scheduling volunteers, making sure all mowing is completed before Sunday services, and leading the team with a standard of excellence. Responsibilities include ensuring thorough mowing and weed eating around playground areas, picnic tables, trees, buildings, poles, and the front sign by the road. The Team Lead helps ensure the grounds look sharp, clean, and welcoming for everyone who visits Innovation Church.
