Join us for a special Christmas Adam service as we wrap up our series "Cracking the Christmas Code" with a powerful message on “The Code of Universal Joy”. In Luke 2:8–14, we read about the shepherds, the first recipients of the angel’s announcement of Jesus’ birth. The angel declares, “I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people” (Luke 2:10). This is the heart of the Christmas message—the birth of Jesus is good news meant for everyone.
In this sermon, we’ll explore how the joy of Christmas isn’t just for a select few but is a gift for all: friends, family, strangers, and even those who seem far beyond reach. Jesus came to dismantle boundaries and offer salvation and joy universally. Just as the shepherds—unlikely figures in the ancient world—became the first messengers of this great news, we too are called to share the joy of Christ’s love.
The Christmas Code shows us that true joy is unlocked when it is shared. As we reflect on the angel’s proclamation, we’ll be challenged to look beyond our own circles and consider how we can be messengers of joy to those around us. Who in your life needs to hear the good news of Christ’s birth this Christmas? Let’s discover together how the joy of Christmas is made complete when we pass it on.
