In the sermon "Your Game Plan," part of the "You Got Game" series, we explore the critical importance of preparation in our spiritual and personal lives. Drawing from Luke 14:28-30, we are reminded that before embarking on any significant endeavor, we must first assess our resources and intentions. Just as a builder evaluates costs to avoid incomplete projects, we, too, need a comprehensive plan to guide us.
Unity is key, as emphasized in 1 Corinthians 1:10. A unified plan creates strength and direction within our families and communities. We will discuss how to develop a SMART plan—Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Time-Bound—making our objectives clear and actionable. Habakkuk 2:2 encourages us to write down our visions, ensuring they are understood and pursued.
Our discussion will cover essential components of a game plan, including crafting a family mission statement rooted in Proverbs 29:18 and John 10:10, establishing core values that reflect our faith (1 Timothy 4:8), and developing a cash flow plan guided by Proverbs 21:5.
Join us as we learn how to create a long-term strategy that honors God and ensures our efforts bear fruit for future generations (Psalms 22:30). Let’s come together to build a strong foundation for our lives!
