Even If... Week 4

In the fourth installment of our series, "We're Not Gonna Take It," we invite you to join us for a powerful exploration titled “Even If...” This sermon draws on the unwavering faith of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, as described in Daniel 3:16-29. Faced with the fiery furnace and the wrath of King Nebuchadnezzar, these young men boldly proclaimed their commitment to God: “If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us... But even if he does not, we will not serve your gods.” Their defiance teaches us the importance of standing firm in our convictions, prioritizing faith over fear, and conviction over compromise.

We’ll reflect on our true citizenship as described in Philippians 3:20, reminding ourselves that we eagerly await our Savior from heaven. In a world of political chaos, we are called to be bold and confident, embodying the truth of Ephesians 6:12-14, which equips us to stand against spiritual opposition.

Through the lens of Hebrews 13:16, we will discuss the call to do good and share with others, even when it’s difficult. Just as God walked with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the fire, we will discover how our trials can serve a greater purpose. Join us as we affirm that even in the face of adversity, our faith can shine brightly, drawing others to recognize the power of God in our lives.
